DEFINING IDEAS

After our last class I brainstormed an activity for each of the three categories. I chose, Dog walking for Sports and Recreation, Fish and chip shops, for Food and Drink and Festivals for Arts and Culture. From doing this exercise I decided i will do Dog Walking places, as there is a lot of variety around wellington. I also can imagine taking some really good photos to use in my brochure.

In week 1, Thursdays class, we did an activity involving a matrix sheet. It was a lot easier to do one for Dog Walking than the other two, so this reinforced the idea of using it as my topic. Part of the brief is that each destination has to have a 'point of difference', so i've decided to use destinations with different surfaces. 'The Green Belt' - soil and dirt, 'Lyall Bay Beach' - sand 'Oriental Parade' - pavement.
